With the words Microsoft, this acquisition will increase the availability of voice and video communications, from which will benefit both ordinary and corporate users, allowing you to create new business models and revenue opportunities. The new alliance will continue to exist under the brand Skype, while expanding available portfolio of communication products and services to Microsoft.
Skype will support a wide range of devices, Microsoft, including Xbox and Kinect, Windows Phone and other Windows devices. In turn, Microsoft will provide an opportunity to connect Skype users with Lync, Outlook, Xbox Live and other means. In addition, Microsoft announced that they will continue to support the Skype clients using platforms other than Microsoft.
