T-Mobile HTC Sensation 4G to run $199 at Target [Update: launch date]

Looking for the T-Mobile HTC Sensation price? We've got you covered, by way of Target Mobile. Looks like the one of the hottest little phones of the summer is going to go for $199 on contract, or $549 outright. That's just about the sweet spot, we think, considering what you're getting -- 4.3-inch screen, 1.2GHz dual-core processor, 8MP rear camera and a 1.2MP front, the latest version of HTC Sense. Now all we need is a nice little date to go with it.

Thanks, anon!

Update: After speaking with a Target Mobile ninja, the 061211 number we see on the sticker is the launch date, at least at Target. Look for the Sensation 4G on the shelves at Target Sunday, June 12. That gives us about a month to save up our pennies! No word if that date will happen for other retailers or T-Mobile corporate stores.

Update 2: TMoNews has confirmed a June 8 release date on TMo proper. Everything's happening according to plan, folks.

The HTC Sensation 4G news just keeps getting better over the weekend as we just received the above screen shot confirming the much rumored June 8th release date. This comes on top of last nights leaked screen shot that confirmed Targets release date and pricing. A June 8th release date has been the rumored since the Sensation 4G was first announced as a spotted Google advertisement hinted a 6/8? release. Along with the Google advertisement which was quickly pulled, the press shot of the Sensation 4G was dated June 8th providing some supporting evidence to release date rumors. Now this screenshot gives us the confirmation we needed in order to faithfully say June 8th is indeed Sensation 4G day.

Aluminum unibody design with touch and pen interaction make HTC Flyer unique
First tablet with HTC Scribe Technology

HTC Corporation, a global leader in mobile innovation and design, announced its first tablet, the HTC Flyer. HTC Flyer blends HTCs trademark design language with an all-new HTC Sense user experience that has been re-imagined for the tablets. Using an intuitive and innovative approach to tablets, HTC Flyer combines natural touch and pen interaction. HTC also announced HTC Watch, a new connected video service that will debut on HTC Flyer tablet.

Clearly, smartphones have transformed our lives but as we observed how people use smartphones, computers and other technologies, we saw an opportunity to create a tablet experience that is different, more personal and productive, said Mr. Terry Chung, Country Manager of HTC Hong Kong and Macau. We are progressing down a path as an industry when people will no longer be in a single device paradigm, but have multiple wireless devices for different needs; this is the direction we are moving.

Encased in a sleek aluminum unibody, the HTC Flyer tablet exudes the iconic style-and-build-quality HTC is known for. It is also ultra-light, weighing as little as a paperback book, and compact enough to fit in a jacket pocket only. With a seven-inch display, lightning fast 1.5Ghz processor and high-speed HSPA wireless capabilities, the HTC Flyer tablet is perfect for those who have been waiting for a tablet that is both compact and powerful.

HTC Sense for Tablet
HTC Sense revolutionized smartphones by placing the person at the center of the experience. HTC Flyers tablet-focused HTC Sense experience focuses on surprising and delighting people with its gorgeous 3D home screen. A unique carousel of widgets puts a users most important content and information at the visual center of the experience. The HTC Flyer tablet also offers uncompromised Web browsing with Adobe Flash and HTML 5.

HTC Scribe Technology
Touch interaction lights up the HTC Flyer tablet experience, but it also offers a groundbreaking pen experience. With the new HTC Scribe Technology on the HTC Flyer tablet, people can rediscover the natural act of writing. HTC Scribe Technology introduces a wave of integrated digital ink innovations that make it easy and natural to take notes, sign contracts, draw pictures, or even write on a web page or photo.
HTC Scribe Technology on the HTC Flyer tablet transforms traditional note-taking into smart note-taking by integrating natural onscreen writing with thoughtful and integrated innovations. A feature called Timemark enables you to capture the audio of a meeting in line with your written notes, so tapping on a word in your notes instantly takes you to that exact place in time in the audio recording of the meeting. Notes are also integrated with the calendar so when there is an appointment reminder you are automatically prompted with an opportunity to begin a new note. In an industry first, the HTC Flyer tablet also features built-in synchronization with Evernote?, the world-leading notes application and service.

How does the Samsung Galaxy S II compare in terms of web browser speed against the iPhone 4, HTC Thunderbolt, and Samsung Focus? It smokes them all! HTC Holiday: new Android-smartphone for AT & T

Resource PocketNow posted image regular news from the company HTC. The model is called HTC Holiday (probably a code name), and judging by the logo on the body it is designed for the U.S. market and the operator AT & T. However, nothing prevents the Taiwanese company to release a version of the Android-smartphone for the European market, the more that communication standards will remain the same - GSM / UMTS. Although, HTC Holiday can receive and support networks of HSPA + or LTE, which is either planned at AT & T, but not yet so common in other markets.

The source also noted that the new device could be the heir of HTC Aria, and quite likely to receive an appropriate name - for example, HTC Aria 2 and Aria S. As for performance, then we can only speculate what they will. While the main source of information is the image that "talks" about the presence of a large touch screen, touch buttons, front camera and the lack of hardware keyboard.

HTC Puccini: tablet for 4G networks

The network has information about the new tablet from a company HTC, which is now ready for release. According to the resource Pocket Now, the model is called HTC Puccini, and it is intended for the U.S. market and the operator AT & T, an official confirmation of this yet. Details about this device yet little is known only that it is running an operating system Android, and is likely to version 3.0 Honeycomb. Also HTC Puccini will support fourth-generation cellular networks, AT & T just builds them and should start this year.

On the other characteristics of the tablet source of almost nothing had happened. He mentioned only that the new device will be larger than the first tablet of Taiwanese company HTC Flyer. Thus we can assume that it will have, for example, a 10-inch touch screen, like the Motorola Xoom, Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 and Acer Iconia A501. Most likely, HTC Puccini also receive the support of a capacitive stylus (technology HTC Scribe), as in the HTC Flyer.

HTC Glacier: version of the T-Mobile myTouch for countries outside the U.S.

The company HTC, apparently, intends to submit a version of its smartphone T-Mobile myTouch for the international market. This is the latest version of the T-Mobile myTouch (MyTouch 4G for HSPA +), which went on sale in the U.S. last year. The international version is called HTC Glacier, although this is likely not the final name. Obviously, the characteristics of the device will be mostly similar to the original. In terms of form factor smartphone - a candy bar with a touchscreen and no hardware keyboard, the model is running Android. At T-Mobile myTouch the version of Android 2.2, with HTC Glacier, it may be newer.

Among other characteristics of a smartphone, according to a source, a processor with 1 GHz, 3.8-inch touchscreen, 768 MB of memory RAM, 5 megapixel camera and front. It is logical to assume that other functions of T-Mobile myTouch implemented the latest generation of HTC Glacier, although not ruled out any improvement.

HTC Rider: HTC EVO 3D version for the international market?

The company HTC, apparently, soon expanded its line of smartphones a new model called HTC Rider. Previously published photos of the device, and now appeared, and his image, plus a few details about the characteristics. Resource PocketNow reported that HTC Rider is based on the 1.2-GHz dual-core chip, Qualcomm Scorpion, but the schedule is responsible for Qualcomm Adreno 220. The operating system on this model obviously uses Android. Diagonal screen HTC Rider is 4.3 inches, and resolution - 960 x 540 pixels. The screen can play both 2D, and 3D-image. In addition, the smartphone can shoot three-dimensional video 1080p.

It is possible that this decision is a version of HTC EVO 3D for other markets (the original is sold by Sprint in the U.S.). True, the source said that the HTC Rider will be sold in South Korea, the operator Korea Telecom under the name HTC X515E, but most likely it's not limited and the model will be released also in Europe.

HTC Puccini: 10-Inch LTE Tablet for AT&T (Image)

This is apparently the HTC Puccini, the rumored 10-inch tablet HTC is preparing to follow its seven-inch Flyer/View 4G. Most notably, it looks like a Puccini variant will be one of the first devices compatible with AT&T's "true 4G" LTE network, deploying this year. Specific details about this model remain elusive, although it's likely to run Android 3.x Honeycomb and support HTC's Scribe capacitive pen input technology. Since Giacomo Puccini was a 19th and 20th century opera composer (La Boheme, Madame Butterfly), there may be a musical focus here as well.

A March leak had this tablet shipping sometime in June, price unknown.

HTC Holiday Pictured for AT&T (Image)

The handset pictured above goes by the codename HTC Holiday, and it's clearly an AT&T-bound Android phone. Unfortunately, that's all we know for certain about the unannounced Holiday -- the design reminds us somewhat of a modernized Aria (Aria 2? Aria S?), but it could just as easily be a higher-end model of the Inspire 4G variety. It's difficult to make out, but there does seem to be a front-facing cam on the upper right side, so it's pretty likely that we're looking at 4G / HSPA+ wireless speeds here; who knows, this could even be an LTE launch device for AT&T. A summer release for such a phone wouldn't seem to be out of the question.

HTC Rider Revealed (Image)

Previously shown in a blurry-cam image and then specifications outlined in a ROM image, we now have a higher resolution image of the HTC Rider.

The device looks alot like the HTC Shooter (EVO 3D) with the front buttons closely resembling those of the HTC Kingdom. We know that the specifications put it at the high end of the list, featuring dual-core 1.2GHz Scorpion CPUs paired with the Adreno 220 GPU and 1GB of RAM. Coupled with a large 4.3-inch qHD 3D display and 1080p 2D/3D recording and playback, the new chipset also allows advanced power saving features, running each CPU at independant speed and voltage depending on demand. The HTC Rider is is expected to be be headed to Korea Telecom, possibly under the name "HTC X515E".

HTC Bringing myTouch 4G 'Glacier' Overseas?

HTC may be planning to release the T-Mobile myTouch 4G internationally, we've learned. Evidence suggests that the UK would be a likely destination. Although it's been on the market now for over four months, the MT4G -- codename: Glacier -- still possesses the spec sheet of high- to mid-end device, with a 1GHz processor, 3.8-inch WVGA screen, 768MB of RAM, and a five megapixel camera with flash, not to mention a front-facing cam for video calls.

In the render above, which we suspect is recent, all myTouch branding has been eliminated in favor of a slightly non-traditional form factor for an unbranded HTC phone. No word on when we'd see such a handset land overseas, before which time its cell radio would obviously need to be swapped for one with locally-compliant bands.

Meanwhile, US T-Mobile customers can look forward to the HTC Doubleshot, which is very likely to hit T-Mobile as the myTouch 4G Slide with QWERTY keyboard.

Powered by the dual Scorpion 1.2GHz CPUs coupled with the Adreno 220 GPU and 1GB of RAM, the Rider is prepared to handle the most demanding apps and games. The dual core aSMP design allows Rider to run each CPU at a different clock speed/voltage, allowing highly efficient power usage. The display is 4.3-inch qHD (960x540) and fully 3D capable.
