The MICEX started trading in additional shares of MTS

Telecommunications operator MTS said that in accordance with the Order of the Director General of ZAO "MICEX Stock Exchange (MICEX) on April 28, 2011 additional shares in MTS placed upon accession of COMSTAR-UTS to MTS in the amount of 73,087,424 pieces are included in the quotation list "A" first level. Bidding additional shares in MTS began May 5, 2011.

Additional share issue carried out in order to convert shares of Comstar UTS, previously attached to the MTS.

The new shares are registered under state registration number 1-01-04715-A-002D. According to Russian law, an additional issue of shares traded with a code MTSI-002D within three months from the date of state registration of the report on the results of additional issue April 21, 2011. After this period, the shares will be combined into one overall issue of shares of MTS, traded on the MICEX trading code MTSI under state registration number 1-01-04715-A.
