Huawei will construct the first commercial LTE network in Southeast Asia

Huawei has announced a five-year contract to provide LTE-solutions "turnkey" Singapore's M1 Limited. The contract includes the installation of the macro base stations, base stations and distributed the updated packet core network (EPC) for next-generation network M1. The sum of the five-year contract was $ 280 million.

LTE technology supports data rates up to 300 Mbps for downlink, which is especially convenient for the effective transfer of data traffic.
