GSM-link from the "Beeline" appeared in Kovdor

Cellular GSM-communication from the operator Vimpelcom (Beeline trademark) has appeared in Kovdor Murmansk region. Beeline uses the GSM 1800 standard, the data transfer technology EDGE. Network is available not only in the urban district, but outside it - a steady signal covers stokilometrovuyu route to Leningrad highway, which is the main federal highway of the Murmansk region.

Beeline began commercial operations in the region in August 2004. Currently, Murmansk branch serves more than 300,000 thousand subscribers.
