The Blackberry PlayBook is RIM’s answer to the Samsung Galaxy Tab. It may not have Android onboard, but it offers impressive specs that will certainly give Samsung’s tablet a run for its money. With a 7 inch display and at just 9.7mm thick, the design of the PlayBook is reminiscent of the Apple iPad. Specs wise however, it’s a whole different story. Internally, the PlayBook packs a 1GHz dual-core processor and 1GB RAM, enabling lightening fast speeds and true multi-tasking. It will also feature a 5 megapixel rear-facing camera, a 3 megapixel webcam for video calling, 1080p HD video playback, stereo speakers and WiFi connectivity for browsing the web. Running a custom OS developed by QNX, it will also arrive with Adobe Flash 10.1 support, HTML 5 compatibility and access to the Blackberry App World.
